Partnered with MetroHealth, Fisher-Titus Medical Center is a verified Level III Trauma Center allowing trauma patients to have access to high level care in Norwalk and the surrounding communities. The Fisher-Titus ER is specialized and designed for the care of patients with acute illnesses and/or injuries, such as:
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Serious head, neck or back injury or trauma
- Broken bones or amputation
- Chest pain or pressure
- Convulsions or seizures
- Unconsciousness
- Severe bleeding that won’t stop or severe burns
- Poisoning or overdose
- Sudden blurred vision
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Sudden dizziness, weakness or loss of coordination or balance
- Numbness in face, arm or leg
- Sudden severe headache
- High fever
- Pregnancy complications
- Any other condition
Fisher-Titus Convenient is available for patients requiring non-emergent care outside of regular physician’s office hours, or if patients are unable to be immediately seen by their physician. Symptoms that can be evaluated and treated at Convenient Care include:
- Cold and flu
- Stomach aches
- Fevers
- Ear aches
- Sore throats and strep throat
- Minor injuries
- Cuts and abrasions
- Sprains
- Urinary Tract Infections
- STDs
- Poison Ivy and other rashes
- Boils and abscesses
