Supporting Our Team in Times of Crisis
In 2024, more than $29,000 was raised for the Fisher-Titus Employee Crisis Fund through direct donations, special events like the Christmas Basket Raffle, and meal fundraisers. These gifts provided more than $12,000 in financial assistance to 15 staff members facing difficult times. This fund, built by employees for employees, reflects the heart of our mission: taking care of each other.
Sharpening Our Focus on Pediatric Eye Care
Our 2024 Year-End Appeal raised over $25,000 to provide free vision screenings for children in our community—funds that were matched by a generous gift from the Lions Club. With the combined total, Fisher-Titus purchased four advanced vision screening devices now located at clinics in Bellevue, Norwalk, Wakeman, and Willard. These tools help detect issues as early as six months of age and support long-term eye health for area youth.
Advancing Breast Biopsy Care
Thanks to proceeds from our 2024 Corks and Kegs event, Golf Tournament, and generous Auxiliary support, Fisher-Titus raised over $100,000 for breast biopsy equipment. The new technology enhances imaging clarity and reduces invasiveness, making the experience more precise and more comfortable for patients. These improvements reflect our continued investment in compassionate, state-of-the-art care.
