The Fisher-Titus Weight Loss Center weight loss and weight management program will help you lose weight and live a healthier life.
We understand that the battle to reach and maintain a healthy weight is highly personal and is influenced by many things. It can be affected by stress, sleep quality, medical conditions and various other factors. That’s why we believe a multidisciplinary approach is needed to achieve the best results.
Our program is for patients with a BMI of 25 or greater, adults age 18 and older, and needing to lose moderate to significant amounts of weight. Women who are pregnant or nursing, or individuals undergoing dialysis or chemotherapy cannot participate in this program unless specifically approved to do so by our medical staff.
Patients must be able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks of programming, including regularly scheduled office visits, lab work, and classes, in order to ensure their optimal success.
As a participant in the Fisher-Titus Weight Loss Program, you will be guided by a team of medical specialists including physicians, dietitians, physical therapy specialists, and behavioral health practitioners. The program also offers three options for weight loss, each one geared to individual goals.
The first step is to attend our FREE Weight Loss Program Informational Seminar. During the seminar, you will be able to meet members of our health-care team, learn more about our program and pricing, and discuss the health issues that relate to obesity.
When you choose to enroll in our weight loss program, first you will be scheduled for an initial assessment with one of our physicians. During the assessment we will review your medical health history and perform some basic tests and screenings, including body composition, resting metabolic rate, comprehensive blood work, EKG and more. This gives us a clear picture of your overall health and helps determine our personalized recommendations for you.
After your initial assessment, all patients attend a private session with one of our Dietitians to further outline the program, set expectations and answer any questions you might have.
How we Monitor Your Health and Weight Loss

Participants in the Fisher-Titus Weight Loss program will attend weekly classes on a variety of topics:
Behavioral Health Practitioners
Behavior management can help manage why you are overweight or obese by understanding the behaviors that surround and cause it.
Your individualized plan will be supervised by Registered Dietitians who will help you develop a successful, sustainable healthy eating plan.
Physical & Occupational Therapists
The physical & occupational therapists at Fisher-Titus Medical Center will find the right exercises for you, helping you lose weight and boost your metabolism in a safe and effective manner.
