Healthcare is an ever-changing field, Fisher-Titus Medical Care is constantly looking for new ways of providing quality care that is convenient for our patients. Fisher-Titus Virtual Visits allow us to do just that. Patients now have the ability to complete a phone or video appointment with their regular healthcare provider without having to physically be in the office.

A phone or video visit is one important part of Virtual Visits. Like using Skype or FaceTime, these virtual visits allow patients to securely connect with their Fisher-Titus provider through their computer, tablet, or smart phone. During a virtual visit, our care team can confirm certain medical conditions, determine treatment plans, and submit prescriptions to the pharmacy – all without patients leaving the comfort of their home.

Feeling under the weather? Skip the drive and the waiting room with virtual on demand pediatric and Convenient Care appointments. Simply download the Amwell app in the Apple or Android app store and enter the service key FISHERTITUS to be connected with a board-certified, experienced medical provider. No appointment necessary.


Why use the Fisher-Titus service key?

Using the service key FISHERTITUS allows you to easily access Fisher-Titus Medical Care group providers. Available Fisher-Titus providers will appear at the top of the list— allowing you to select the provider that best meets your needs.

Scheduled Visits

To schedule a virtual visit with a Fisher-Titus Medical Care provider, patients can simply call the office of the provider and let the scheduler know they’d like to be seen through a video visit. These appointments will be billed out through insurance at their normal rate, just as if they were being seen in person in the office.

Tips for Your Virtual Visit

  • Before your appointment, make sure you have a good service or internet connect. If needed, restart your phone or computer so it runs efficiently.
  • Close any unnecessary programs and applications before you start your appointment. This can slow down your connection and make it difficult to communicate with your provider.
  • Update your computer regularly to help the performance and compatibility of your computer.
  • Adjust your volume control to your liking or mute/unmute your speakers.

For a Video Appointment

  • Try to be at least 3 feet back from the camera.
  • Don’t sit in front of a window. If you have to, draw the shades to avoid backlighting.
  • Look at the camera when you are speaking instead of the computer screen.
  • Limit background noise. Make sure the TV or radio is off, doors are closed, and windows are shut.
  • Put cellphone on Silent Mode before starting the appointment.
