Rachel Velishek provides counseling services for all ages. She addresses concerns such as mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral problems in children, relationships, adjustments to life changes and stressors, parenting, trauma, and abuse.
Rachel specializes in working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She can provide parent training for children with ADHD. Rachel has written columns on a variety of topics relating to mental health and parenting published in local newspapers and on the Fisher-Titus website.
Rachel has experience and training with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She can provide the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy Relationship Checkup. She is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals and a Member of the Ohio Counselor Association.
