From wellness checkups, to common colds and unexpected bumps and bruises, all the way to specialty care in heart, orthopaedic, pulmonary medicine and more, families can take comfort in the fact that their children have access to some of the best in children’s medicine at the Fisher-Titus Pediatric Center of Excellence, housed at Medical Park 2 on the Fisher-Titus Campus. The Center includes New Beginnings Pediatrics and also medical offices for pediatric specialists from Akron Children’s Hospital. The collaboration with Akron Children’s Hospital began more than 20 years ago and now is an area designed to streamline that care and have a one-stop center for our area families to go.
In addition to services provided at the Pediatric Center of Excellence, Fisher-Titus offers pediatric therapy programs at the Walcher Rehabilitation Center at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
Fisher-Titus has an accomplished group of pediatric therapists that specialize in childhood disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory disorders, feeding disturbance, cerebral palsy, and more.

The Kids’ Place is a unique area designed for young patients' special needs. As you enter "The Kids' Place for Learning and Therapy," a kid-friendly waiting room provides a place where children can play while they wait for therapy.
In "The Kids' Place," patients move, play and learn in a safe, private environment. A gym and specialized treatment spaces provide such innovations as a climbing wall, training horse, swings, zip line and a ball pit to encourage the development of social and interaction skills, language, sitting, crawling, walking, self-care and fine motor coordination.
Fisher-Titus Medical Center's Pediatric Team also provides various group programs to supplement educational and private treatment programs, along with workshops to promote continuing education for families, educators and therapists throughout the region.
Fisher-Titus Medical Center's Autism Spectrum Kids (ASK) Program provides special programming and support for children, families, and the community who are touched by Autism Spectrum Disorders. The ASK Program is centered on our Pediatric Therapy Department.
