Nancy Lang, LISW has joined Fisher-Titus Behavioral Health as a counselor. Lang will provide counseling services for all ages addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. She is especially passionate about working with teens, young adults, and the elderly and has an extensive background in crisis intervention.
Lang has completed internships with the Veterans Administration, Wade Park in Cleveland with a focus on Veteran’s psychological trauma, Pressley Ridge in Lorain with a focus on children’s mental health, with Dr. Dale Griffis with a focus in Forensics, and worked as a statistician for a national research project on Treatment Foster Care to influence social policy. She also studied addiction and innovative treatment options at the international level at the Free University in Amsterdam (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
Lang earned her Master’s Degree from Case Western Reserve University in Adult Psychopathology and Health Care Service Delivery. She has worked in health care for over 40 years in various settings. She has also worked as an educator in radiological sciences and medical assisting. Lang has been a licensed social worker since 2006 and recently obtained her independent license. She has lived in the area her whole life and enjoys being active in the community.
