My son got stitches out at this visit. He was pretty nervous, and this provider took the time to explain exactly what she was about to do. She showed him the tools she was going to use, and explained how it would feel. She showed him each stitch as she pulled it out, and kept talking to him to keep him calm. She even took him out of the exam room to let him pick out a band aid and a sucker. With a first-time experience like this that could've been extremely stressful, we walked out with no tears, and a good experience to share with Braxton's friends. Thank you so much!
