Your Hospital Bill
Your hospital statement will not be prepared for up to 24 hours after you are discharged by your physician.
Physician Billing Information
Physicians at Fisher-Titus Medical Center are independent practitioners with privileges to practice their specialties at the Fisher-Titus Medical Center. Your treating and consulting physicians along with any physician services received through the emergency rooms, pathology, radiology, cardiopulmonary, anesthesia and surgical areas will be billed to you directly from the physician. These bills are separate from the bill you will receive from Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
As a non-profit community hospital, Fisher-Titus Medical Center is committed to providing health care services to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Uninsured or under-insured patients may qualify for financial assistance under one of several programs.
Our Financial Assistance policies apply to all emergency and medically necessary care provided by employees and contractors at Fisher-Titus Medical Center (our hospital facility).
The application for HCAP, Charity Care, or Community Assistance programs are below. Simply print, complete, and mail the form back to the address listed on the form.
If, after applying available discounts to all medically necessary inpatient and outpatient services, patients' liability exceeds 25% of family income, the bill will adjust not to exceed that amount. Persons with a liability exceeding 25% of family income will be declared "Medically Indigent" and will not be asked to pay amounts due for hospital services exceeding that limit.
