Fisher-Titus and Be Strong Learning Center are partnering to offer free classes to become an STNA.
Our free training program in partnership with Be Strong Learning Center provides the STNA candidate with all the educational tools needed to successfully complete the state testing requirements. Successful candidates accepted into this free training program includes tuition, fees, books, state testing, CPR, and First Aid.
In addition, select students may be chosen to work as Hospitality Aides while completing the program. The Hospitality Aide duties are a perfect, hands-on, compliment to the STNA course—and you get paid to do it! For students who are selected to work as Hospitality Aides, their schedule will be arranged to allow plenty of time for both school and study.
Additionally, it includes employment as an STNA in Norwalk Memorial Home and the Transitional Care Unit at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. Start date will coincide with class completion.
The first training sessions run May 10-28.
Classes are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am-3:30 pm at Be Strong Learning Center, 26 Whittlesey Avenue, Norwalk. To register, send your resume to John Tucker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
